समाज मानविकी authors, reviewers, editors, readers और website users की व्यक्तिगत जानकारी की गोपनीयता का सम्मान करती है। यह privacy statement बताता है कि journal website और OJS system पर एकत्र की गई जानकारी का उपयोग कैसे किया जाएगा।
पत्रिका केवल उन सूचनाओं को एकत्र और उपयोग करेगी जो manuscript submission, peer review, editorial communication, publication, indexing, archiving और journal administration के लिए आवश्यक हैं।
OJS system और journal communication के दौरान निम्न प्रकार की जानकारी एकत्र हो सकती है: नाम, email address, affiliation, designation, ORCID ID, country, correspondence address, manuscript files, reviewer comments, editorial decisions, metadata, author biography, references और communication records.
यदि कोई user journal website पर registration करता है, manuscript submit करता है, review करता है या editorial role में कार्य करता है, तो उसकी जानकारी OJS workflow के लिए संरक्षित की जा सकती है।
Collected information का उपयोग केवल journal-related purposes के लिए किया जाएगा। इसमें manuscript processing, peer review assignment, editorial decision, author communication, reviewer communication, publication metadata, indexing submission, archiving, certificate preparation और journal records शामिल हो सकते हैं।
व्यक्तिगत जानकारी को commercial marketing, unrelated mailing lists या third-party sale के लिए उपयोग नहीं किया जाएगा।
Accepted articles में author name, affiliation, email, ORCID ID यदि उपलब्ध हो, abstract, keywords, references और article metadata सार्वजनिक रूप से प्रदर्शित किए जा सकते हैं। यह scholarly publishing का सामान्य हिस्सा है और indexing तथा citation के लिए आवश्यक होता है।
Authors को submission से पहले यह समझना चाहिए कि publication के बाद article-level metadata सार्वजनिक होगा।
Reviewer identity double-blind review process में गोपनीय रखी जाएगी। Reviewer reports केवल editorial process के लिए उपयोग की जाएंगी। Reviewer identity authors या public को नहीं बताई जाएगी, जब तक journal की किसी विशेष open review policy या reviewer consent के तहत ऐसा न किया जाए।
Editorial decisions, review history, revision files और communication records journal archive में सुरक्षित रह सकते हैं। ये records dispute resolution, ethical investigation, publication history और audit purposes के लिए उपयोग किए जा सकते हैं।
OJS website सामान्य technical functioning के लिए cookies या session data का उपयोग कर सकती है। इसका उद्देश्य login, submission workflow, user session और website functionality को सुचारु रखना है।
Journal users को browser settings के माध्यम से cookies manage करने का विकल्प हो सकता है, लेकिन cookies disable करने पर कुछ OJS functions प्रभावित हो सकते हैं।
Journal article metadata indexing agencies, abstracting services, repositories, DOI registration agencies और scholarly discovery platforms के साथ साझा किया जा सकता है। इसमें article title, author names, affiliation, abstract, keywords, references, publication date, license और DOI/URL शामिल हो सकते हैं।
Private manuscript files, reviewer comments और confidential communication को public metadata के रूप में साझा नहीं किया जाएगा।
Journal reasonable administrative और technical measures अपनाने का प्रयास करेगी ताकि user data, manuscript files और editorial records सुरक्षित रहें। नियमित backup, restricted access और role-based permissions का उपयोग किया जा सकता है।
Internet-based systems में पूर्ण सुरक्षा की गारंटी नहीं दी जा सकती, लेकिन journal गोपनीयता और सुरक्षा बनाए रखने के लिए उचित सावधानी रखेगी।
Journal manuscript और editorial records को scholarly record, ethical audit, indexing, dispute handling और archival purposes के लिए सुरक्षित रख सकती है। Rejected manuscripts के records भी सीमित administrative और ethical purposes के लिए सुरक्षित रखे जा सकते हैं।
Users अपनी profile information update कर सकते हैं। यदि कोई user अपनी जानकारी में correction, access या removal request करना चाहता है, तो वह editorial office से संपर्क कर सकता है। कुछ records, जैसे published article metadata और editorial history, scholarly record की integrity के कारण हटाए नहीं जा सकते।
