समाज मानविकी academic writing और publishing में Artificial Intelligence tools के बढ़ते उपयोग को स्वीकार करती है, लेकिन ऐसे tools का उपयोग पारदर्शी, सीमित, जिम्मेदार और नैतिक होना चाहिए। AI tools लेखक की सहायता कर सकते हैं, लेकिन वे मानव लेखक, reviewer या editor की scholarly responsibility का स्थान नहीं ले सकते।
इस नीति में generative AI, AI-assisted writing tools, language models, grammar tools, translation tools, image generation tools और automated reference tools शामिल हैं।
AI tool को author या co-author के रूप में सूचीबद्ध नहीं किया जा सकता। Authorship केवल मानव व्यक्तियों को दी जा सकती है, क्योंकि author को research integrity, data, interpretation, ethical compliance और published record के लिए उत्तरदायी होना पड़ता है।
AI tool न तो consent दे सकता है, न conflict of interest declare कर सकता है, न research responsibility ले सकता है।
लेखक AI-assisted tools का सीमित उपयोग भाषा-संशोधन, grammar correction, formatting support, translation सहायता, readability improvement या abstract polishing के लिए कर सकते हैं। ऐसे उपयोग के बाद लेखक को पूरा text स्वयं पढ़ना, सत्यापित करना और अंतिम रूप देना होगा।
AI का उपयोग research question, literature review, data analysis, interpretation, conclusion, references या theoretical argument बनाने के लिए करते समय लेखक को अत्यंत सावधानी रखनी होगी। Unsupported claims, fabricated references, गलत citations या invented data की पूरी जिम्मेदारी लेखक की होगी।
यदि manuscript तैयार करने में AI-assisted tool का उपयोग हुआ है, तो लेखक को disclosure देना चाहिए। Disclosure acknowledgement, methods note या author declaration में दिया जा सकता है।
Suggested statement:
“इस manuscript की भाषा-संशोधन/अनुवाद सहायता/formatting प्रक्रिया में AI-assisted tool का सीमित उपयोग किया गया। शोध-विचार, data, analysis, interpretation, references और अंतिम पाठ की संपूर्ण जिम्मेदारी लेखक/लेखकों की है।”
यदि AI का उपयोग नहीं हुआ है, तो author यह statement दे सकता है:
“लेखक/लेखकों ने घोषित किया है कि इस manuscript की तैयारी में generative AI tool का उपयोग नहीं किया गया।”
AI tool का उपयोग fabricated data, fake references, invented quotations, manipulated review response, artificial literature review, copied paraphrasing, plagiarism concealment या बिना समझे manuscript generation के लिए नहीं किया जा सकता। केवल AI-generated manuscript को मौलिक मानव शोध के रूप में जमा करना स्वीकार्य नहीं है।
AI-generated references को verify किए बिना manuscript में शामिल करना गंभीर दुराचार माना जाएगा।
यदि manuscript में AI-generated image, illustration, diagram, table या visual material शामिल है, तो इसका disclosure आवश्यक है। Authors को यह सुनिश्चित करना होगा कि such material copyright, privacy, data protection और research integrity rules का उल्लंघन नहीं करता।
Research data को visual रूप में बदलने के लिए AI tool का उपयोग किया गया है तो लेखक को process स्पष्ट करना होगा।
Reviewer submitted manuscript को किसी generative AI tool में upload नहीं करेंगे, क्योंकि manuscript गोपनीय दस्तावेज है। AI tool में upload करने से author confidentiality, unpublished data और intellectual property risk में पड़ सकते हैं।
Reviewer अपने grammar या language clarity में निजी सहायता ले सकते हैं, लेकिन manuscript content को AI system के साथ साझा करना अनुमति योग्य नहीं है, जब तक journal ने विशेष रूप से अनुमति न दी हो।
Editors editorial decisions के लिए AI को अंतिम आधार नहीं बनाएंगे। AI tools का उपयोग administrative support, language checking या metadata consistency के लिए सीमित रूप में किया जा सकता है, लेकिन acceptance, rejection, reviewer selection या ethical judgment मानव editor द्वारा किया जाएगा।
Editors manuscript की गोपनीयता बनाए रखेंगे और unpublished content को अनधिकृत AI platforms में upload नहीं करेंगे।
AI tool के उपयोग के बावजूद manuscript की पूरी जिम्मेदारी मानव authors की होगी। यदि AI-assisted content में plagiarism, false claim, fabricated reference, biased interpretation या inaccurate translation पाया जाता है, तो author उत्तरदायी होंगे।
AI use छिपाने, fake references बनाने, AI-generated manuscript जमा करने या confidential manuscript को AI tool में upload करने पर editorial board manuscript reject कर सकता है। Published article में violation पाए जाने पर correction, expression of concern या retraction जारी किया जा सकता है।
AI-related practices तेजी से बदल रही हैं। समाज मानविकी इस नीति की समय-समय पर समीक्षा करेगी और आवश्यक होने पर इसे updated करेगी।
